Roboquest Early Access Short Review: What’s up guys, Welcome to simple review article series where I simple briefly review it. And I keep it simple let’s get into it. Roboquest is a fast-paced fps rogue-lite. When you play this game you just have the option of playing one game mode. In this game mode, you can either play solo or online with up to one other player. Your goal when playing will be to get as far as possible and defeat all the bosses at the end of each level. When attempting to do this you will find different weapons. And different upgrades to your character to do increased damage or upgrade your abilities to better perform in combat.
If you die in any of your runs you will still have a currency to use when you return to your camp. So, you will then be able to upgrade your camp. Which will result in you having upgrades such as being able to start with two primary weapons rather than just one. And that’s pretty much the whole experience that you’ll have when playing this game. Now from my experience when playing this game, I did enjoy playing this game.
The combat was very smooth and very fast-paced, and being able to make progress with every run made each playthrough attempt enjoyable. This game is currently in early access so there is a roadmap for future content that’s planned. So, This game will only get better and better as time goes on. And now with all that being said, I’d have to give this game 8.5 points out of 10. This game overall is a very good fps rogue-lite and has the potential to be one of the best fps rogue lights on full release. So if you guys like the content please drop a comment and I’ll see you guys the next one.
Roboquest is available on Steam in Early Access just for $18. And it is supposed to go up to $20 at the full launch of Roboquest. You can take attention to the development roadmap, and find out more about the game at roboquest.com.
